From Jean:
Hi everyone, I am looking forward to our Reunion and seeing everyone. Since high school I have been married and divorced 3 times I Left Ambler in 1972 lived in North and South Carolina each for several years and lived in Japan for one year. I have been back in Ambler since 1980. I have two daughters and two grandchildren both boys. My youngest daughter went to school with Gary Seeburgers daughter. My oldest daughter went to school with Tony Giampas son. I found a few pictures from the class picnic and some from one of the shore trips to Ocean City, NJ some are out of focus and a few I can tell who people are but it doesn't matter as either way they bring back a lot of good memories of good times and good friends.

Who knew that some of our classmates are so funny? I have had the privilege of being included in a nightly string of emails between the reunion committee and the “helpers” and have been laughing out loud more than I care to admit. I was afraid they would cut me off if I didn’t post my info, so Cindi and Donna, here it is. John (class of ’70) and I have been married for 27 years and have not strayed far from our “roots” in UD. We are currently experiencing our first taste of an empty nest, which is kind of nice. Our daughter Kate graduated from college in June and is finally off on her own and independent (if she will just give us back the EZ pass!). Our son Steven started his freshman year at college in the fall, and so far, no news is good news. I went back to work 8 years ago and am currently working for the Superintendent of Lower Merion School District – really fun job! My spare time is spent in Avalon, NJ in the summer (can’t give up the sun worshipping, no matter how many wrinkles), and on the slopes in the winter. I strapped on the skis for the first time about 10 years ago and became absolutely hooked. Colorado has become my new favorite vacation destination. In fact, Melinda Wolff, Donna White (Stoughton) and I took a girls ski vacation there last year and had a blast. We hope to repeat it this winter. Looking forward to seeing all of you in ’06.

From BRAD:
After leaving UD, I went to Temple. I met some guys in my Sophomore year and we started a Contemporary Christian band called Glad. After graduating from Temple with a Marketing degree, I toured with the band nationwide for two years, played on the first two albums and even got to hear myself on the radio! The band really hit it big with their first acapella album, which shows you how much I contributed to their success as the drummer. After I left the band, I married Billy Lampmann's little sister, Beth (UDHS 72). We just celebrated our 26th year anniversary and we have a 21 year old son and an 18 year old daughter, both of whom went to Upper Dublin! We live on Bell Lane in Maple Glen. I am also on the National Ski Patrol (Hey Gary) at Spring Mountain, after being at Shawnee Mountain for 5 years. I have great memories from UD...remember 6th grade when we were in the high school...our class had 3 teachers that year...Miss Short, Mr Frankenfield and Miss Worthington...we had fun that year! Also, in High School, the Marching Band / Concert Band was so enriching. I remember playing Clifton Williams' The Sinfonians at the Academy of Music. On the bus ride down, Steve Brown (Oboe) shared his Hash Brownies with everyone...no wonder we sounded so good...and Hey Paul, I remember the blood on the bass drum from Mark Wilmore's hand during the 1812 Overture. And how about the infamous party at Chet's brothers' house over behind the Casa Conti? That was the night that the cops came and Ronnie Schmidt stole the cop car...and John Amy ran out af the party and into the kitchen of the Casa Conti, put on an apron and started washing dishes, so he wouldn't get caught. These are only a few of my fond memories... Guys, we have a GREAT class. Can't wait to see you all...

First, kudos to the reunion committee for all their hard work to make this reunion a success. After high school I graduated from West Chester University, made a short lived attempt as a pro golfer(although I still try to get in a "little golf now and then"), and then started a financial services company, Creative Financial Group, with my partner and friend Joe Naselli. My wife Claire and I have been married for 33 years and have a son Jesse, who is married and has a daughter Olivia; our daughter Kara Evans has a son Jack and a daughter Madeline; and our daughter Gwenn lives and works in New York. I have been fortunate to have life long friendships with some of my high school buddies and really look forward to seeing everyone in November.

I still live within 15 miles of my childhood home. Living and working in this area allows me to cross paths with people I have known for decades. Both of my parents have passed away and my older sister June is a math educator, married, living in Northern Virginia with three sons. I graduated the University of Pennsylvania in 1978 as a Physical Therapist. I have had the opportunity to help many patients, serve my profession and have fun doing it. My clinical focus is helping people with various forms of Cancers. Rita and I have been married for 28 years. We have two children. Amanda – 23, is a student at the University of Delaware. Jeffrey – 20, is a student at the University of Vermont. Like many young people, both are figuring out what they want to do with their lives. They are great young adults and generally fun to be with. I have lots of hobbies. I love to snow ski, golf, fish & bicycle. Gardening is a passion. I maintain hybrid rose and perennial gardens. I also love to travel. Rita and I have taken wonderful trips with many great memories. I am looking forward to seeing you this fall and wish all the best to the entire Class of 1971.

HELLO TO EVERYONE.........after leaving UD, I went to Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (now Philadelphia University) and took all the courses I could without written exams. I majored in Textile Design. I spent a few years in retail/home furnishings and soon realized that the sales reps who called on us were having alot more fun and putting in alot less hours than I was. I got into sales for wallcoverings/fabrics with a company based in King of Prussia. I married Scott in 1988 and became stepmother to Jessica, who was then 10. I moved to another company the same year and we settled in Exton. Scott changed careers in 1993 and we moved to Atlanta. (Still here.....)I miss the northeast but have done some fun stuff here like going to the 96 Olympics. I worked at the design center here as a showroom manager for almost 10 years. In 2001, we adopted a beautiful 5 year old girl from Russia. Katya is now 11 and keeping us very busy. I retired from full-time work and now do lots of artsy things, when I am not going to roller hockey, basketball, softball, or tennis practice. Katya is the athlete I never was...............She is REALLY good at every sport and even LOVES gym class! Jessica is 28 and engaged to a very cute tennis player from Greece. She is a successful recruiter and lives in Atlanta. Scott is happily in his own business since he turned 50. If anyone is still reading this.......THANKS! I am having so much fun reconnecting with everyone! Can't wait til the reunion!

Well........since I am a person "of my word", and I made a promise to finally do this bio. for Cindi.....here you are!!!!!! God...let's see, since I left U.D. I attended college in Ohio for 1 yr. then transfered to U. of Pitt., where I got my degree in Nursing. I worked in the O.R. for @ 21 yrs. and during that time I specialized as a 'RN/First Assist'....(becoming the 2nd Surgeon when needed). I worked in Fla. for several yrs. and then after the ending of a 10 yr. partnership, I headed out to the West Coast. I still worked in nursing -doing travel assignments-which took me to live in Hawaii for 1 yr., then in the Bay area for another yr. and finally to working in San Diego. That is when I decided to retire from the medical industry, and persue my life-long dream in acting!! I participated over the yrs. in theater groups, weekend playhouse co.'s, etc. and knew that I loved to act........I just never pushed myself to follow through with making it my carreer!!! UNTIL 5 yr.s ago......... I have been working in this entertainment industry since, and at times it seems crazy-----but, it is what "FILLS MY SOUL". I have done quite well, with having had a lead role on a TV episodic that aired Globally; just finished working on a big feature that will be out in 2007; have done re-curring roles on several T.V. shows, and even help at times as a Medical/Technical Advisor with medical drama's-when needed. So------------there you are, people........I have finally challenged myself & am seeing the rewards of doing what I always 'dreamed' about. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.....and to the crew of you guys that made all this possible--I COMMEND YOU. Thanks for keeping alive the memory of '71...........

35 years!?!?! Yikes!! How can that be? Though that was ages ago, there are times when it seems like just yesterday, especially since I've been reliving such fun memories with all the Reunion Planners and Helpers. This has been almost as much fun as --- (fill in the blank with the most fun you can think of!) :)! My husband Jim (the love of my life "THEN and NOW"), and I celebrated our 30th Anniversaries this year...of being married and of living in beautiful Tucson AZ. We LOVE the relaxed and laid back lifestyle and, of course, the almost perfect weather (NOT necessarily the case in the sizzling hot summers, but as all Arizonans say..."It's a DRY heat!) After teaching Elementary school for a few years, I decided I was ready for a career change. I've been in the Advertising field for almost 20 years. I currently work for Money Mailer (those oversized red, white & blue envelopes you get in the mail with those great money saving coupons!), as a Senior Marketing Consultant. Jim & I love to travel. We spend lots of time in San Diego, since Jim, an Optometrist, has a practice there. We never figured out how to "make" babies, but are overjoyed with our 7 incredible nieces! Can't wait to reunite with you all next year. Be there or be talked about!!!

KUDOS to the Reunion Committee for a job well done... what a great time! It was SUPER to see so many old (and many new?) faces after 35 years... As for me, I've been living in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands for the past 20 years and enjoy selling a slice of paradise to those who come to our shores... look me up when you come to the USVI! After Upper Dublin, I graduated from William & Mary (along w/ Melinda!) and moved to NYC and finally Atlanta w/ various marketing and sales positions in telecom and cable TV. I finally 'checked' out in 1986 and have been here ever since. I'm also a Broker in NYC w/ Prudential Douglas Elliman and we maintain a residence in Greenwich Village... provides the best of both worlds! Keep in touch and thanks again!
